Based in Melbourne, Thick as Thieves agents search the globe looking for the most exciting underground music artists of today, to tour around Australia. For their 10 year anniversary I was invited to VJ and perform my visual set live and create custom content to play at  their flagship event.The content I designed and animated was based on the bespoke set design created for the anniversary show. The creative intent was to create a feeling of extended visual boundaries and sense of space. This was created by taking the 3D design of the stage and repeating and rotating it behind the stage props. My personal crystal/neon 3D look and feel was added to complement my visual content.

10 years of Thick as Thieves custom brand identity elements such as updated motion ident and animated the promotional hero image were also included and played in the live visual set. This really brought the look and feel pre event, and the event and post event inline with one another and created a strong sense of identity within Melbourne techno and dance the community.

It was a special event. I was proud to be a part of a team that pulled out all the stops and worked together harmoniously. I am truly grateful for the Thick of Thieves crew for having me on board and being a part of creating this experience. 

 
 
Based in Melbourne, Thick as Thieves agents search the globe looking for the most exciting underground music artists of today, to tour around Australia. For their 10 year anniversary, I was commissioned to design hero marketing images to be used across all their print, online, socal, video collateral as well as live stage visuals. Each still image was designed to be used as a hero image across all promotional material for each event. The hero images consisted of the number 10 in the Thick as Thieves brand font and architectural and interior design details of the venues. This included timber slats from the Timber Yard, neon lights from xe54, and the cage and paste ups from the revolver walls. Thick as Thieves 10 year celebration events were held across 5 different venues. The Docklands Shed 14 Official Flagship show, The Timer Yards warm up show with Rebuke, Revolver home base celebrations with Michael Bibi, Xe54 After Party Show and the finally the Fred Hollows Community Fundraiser at Revolver.
Thick as Thieves brand identity's logo was updated with a tungsten light look and feel, which reflects their stage show production which they are well known for. This was produced as both a still image to be used as their profile image on all social media, and as an animated ident to accompany all official video content such as promotional content and after event videos.
